Corporate Sales

One of the US’s leading travel companies is hiring a Bilingual Outside Sales Representative fluent in Japanese and English. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates in the NY or LA areas.

Requirements:

  • Several years of US corporate sales experience.
  • Prior experience in the travel industry preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Outstanding sales abilities.
  • Adaptable with a strong focus on customer service.

Job Description:

  1. Client Development
  • Regularly works more than half the working time away from the office making personal sales calls at customer sites.
  • Conducts marketing research for potential clients and develops new corporate business.
  • Produces and distributes sales materials, including flyers and emails to clients.
  • Conducts Group and Leisure sales activities and tour escorts.
  • Maintains and develops customer base by suggesting products and services that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Participates in sales and marketing activities.
  • Understands function from a bigger, organizational perspective, and its impact on daily activities.

2. Client Management

  • Meets with key customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Provides phone and e-mail communications with clients to maintain business.
  • Resolves escalated customer service issues.
  • Fully understands and acts upon our customer needs at all times.
  • Maintains strong ties with clients and related parties.

3. Meeting, Incentive and Event Management

  • Develops, manages, and delivers client reporting requirements.
  • Analyzes and reviews clients’ cost performance with clients and identifies potential savings.
  • Provides cutting-edge technology such as a registration system.
  • Negotiates with suppliers or vendors for better rates by collaborating with C&RM.
  • Conducts risk management
