Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network/Server/Cloud/IT Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, servers, cloud-based systems, and overall IT environment. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
– Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
– Configure and manage servers, both physical and virtual, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
– Monitor network and server performance, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT requirements and provide technical solutions.
– Manage and troubleshoot cloud-based systems ensuring scalability and availability.
– Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard our network and systems from cyber threats.
– Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning to minimize data loss and downtime.
– Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and operating systems.
– Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements to our IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Proven experience as a Network/Server/Cloud/IT Engineer or a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server administration, and cloud platforms.
– Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
– Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
– Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and task management.
– Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
– Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
