Job Description:
Essential role required 5 days on-site will work in a 24×7 Operations Center environment performing a wide variety of tasks to include:
- Supervise Operations and Maintenance team (9+ members).
- Responsible for problem troubleshooting and resolution, including interaction with site contacts, carriers, vendors, and various departments in US and Japan.
- Ensure tickets and monitoring alerts are handled per pre-defined SLA’s for response time, updates and closure.
- Provide periodical updates to customers and various internal departments.
- Resolve critical system issues on a 24×7 basis, including notification, coordination and dispatch of individuals from various functional groups and providers.
- Perform internal system maintenance activity.
- Monitor the status and performance of services and facilities.
- Perform various provisioning activities.
- Handing remote hand requests from related party.
- Perform our company related site inspection.
- Develops and maintains a framework of policies and procedures for operations and maintenance.
- Create and update the documents for operations and maintenance.
- Providing training to the team.
- Interacts and negotiates with vendors to secure competitive and sustainable operations.
- Supports for budget planning and expense controlling.
- Performs any and all other related duties from time to time.
Qualification / Requirements:
- Have experience in the telecommunications / IT industry.
- Have management experience.
- Knowledge of Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure is preferred.)
- Knowledge of Enterprise and Service provider IT infrastructure.-Knowledge of Networking and Server systems (Cisco CCNA certification is preferred.).
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of multi-tasking, time management and prioritization of workload.
- Ability to assess faults, priorities, respond and escalate accordingly.
- Willing to learn and develop new skills.
- Co-operate with team mates and other departments.
- Always think “Customer first”.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goal and objectives.-Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
