IT Server Engineer

Job Summary:
・Fluency in both English and Japanese.

・Possess Windows Server, VMWare virtualization, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure expertise. As a Server Engineer.

・Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server environments for clients.

・Work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with clients to ensure optimal performance and reliability of server systems.

Responsibilities:
– Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.


– Implement and maintain VMWare virtualization technologies, including server consolidation, migration, and resource management.

– Administer storage systems, monitor capacity, and optimize storage performance.

– Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and propose server solutions.

– Configure and manage cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based servers, networking, and security.

– Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for server-related issues, implementing effective resolutions.

– Ensure system security and data protection through regular backups, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.

– Document server configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.


– Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in server technologies, recommending improvements and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:
– Fluency in English and Japanese (both written and verbal) is essential for effective communication with international clients and team members.


– Proven experience as a Server Engineer, managing Windows Server environments, VMWare virtualization, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure.


– Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.


– Hands-on experience with VMWare virtualization technologies like vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.


– Familiarity with storage systems, such as SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations.

– Proficiency in configuring and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably with AWS or Azure.


– Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and security principles.

– Ability to troubleshoot server-related issues and perform root cause analysis.


– Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Certifications in relevant technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMWare Certified Professional, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.


– Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation and configuration management.

Work Place: Hybrid (Onsite at NY Office/Remote)

Salary: DOE (Around $90~$110K)
