Inside Sales Representative

Job Purpose: 

・Primarily focus on handling outbound calls from existing customers

・Independently generate sales by marketing company product lines, managing new and existing customer accounts, negotiating, and interfacing with customers.

・Responsible for understanding customer needs and leveraging and maintaining business relationships.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure that each customer, client, and vendor received outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and assisting every customer, maintaining exceptional product knowledge, and all other components of customer service.
  • Contact existing customers and develop business by selling company product lines and offering value-added services and availability information to unsolicited and solicited callers. Maintain customer information including sales contracts, bonded inventory requirements, contract terms, and other pertinent account details.
  • Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales growth goals agreed upon annually with Area Team Manager or Deputy Team Manager.
  • Maintain professionalism, stay abreast of new products, and recommend alternative products for out-of-stock items.
  • Provides new and current customers with product information including pricing, delivery, inventory stocking, back order availability, functionally equivalent cross matches, and value-added product information.
  • Negotiates and establishes sales quotes based on the volume of products purchased and the nature of the marketplace to effectively offer competitive pricing and ensure the highest profitability.
  • Makes calls (phone) to present the Company’s products to end users while seeking to meet or exceed corporate-wide assigned sales quotas.
  • Understand the Company’s target market and marketing goals to communicate with the designers and effectively execute the message to our consumers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Chinese/Japanese and English bilingual required
