Position Summery:
General engineering and technical support activities of food processing machines and accessories, mainly the equipment to produce rice product food such as Sushi, Onigiri and Bento. The detailed activities shall be
- Inventories and replenishes the par levels for all supply areas
- Restocks supply rooms and warehouse utilizing proper rotation techniques, maintains organized storage areas, all shelves properly labeled
- Collaborate with cross functional teams of Electrical, Firmware, and Production Engineering
- Generate engineering documentation
- Generate and update departmental procedures and flowcharts
- Other duties as assigned
- Thrives to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance with equipment and maintain a high quality of customer satisfaction
- Assist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment specific to your skillset
- Complete documentation, field service tickets, QA forms, and inspection reports for each job
- Perform Scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations and verifications of system specifications
- Provide on-demand phone and on-site support as required
- Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment functionality in order to perform preventative maintenance on machines
- Accurately document all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards
- Work with customers and sales force to clarify customer requirements and technical issues
- Work with sales and operations on all customer-specific site and technical issues
- Maintain inventory integrity through proper handling, inspection, and warehousing
- Supports company-wide initiatives, policies and procedures, including Quality Management System maintenance
- Duties and responsibilities are subject to modification to fit the needs of the business as deemed appropriate by the executive management team
- Such modifications may occur in writing or verbally
- Submitting field service reports timely and according to functional standards
- Communicate with account manager on services being provided
- Manage and Maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions
- Supervisory Responsibility
- The individual in this position must be willing to travel and drive distances to get to a variety of sites
- Some travel and assignments will require flying and overnight stays
- Minimum of 2 years work related experience with Mechanical Engineer in the machinery department.
