I. General Position Summary
The Treasury Specialist is responsible for 1) managing the contract of the treasury transactions and
handling cash operation related to the treasury transactions, 2) handling payments for vendors and taxes and 3) recording daily transactional activity and preparing financial information for the outside
accountants and the headquarter in Tokyo.
The scope of the above operations includes not only the operations of our firm but also the operations of its subsidiary.
II. Essential Job Functions
- Principal
(Cash Management)
Monitor and report the cash balance and daily transactions
(Group Loan)
Input the terms of intercompany loans into the treasury system
Handle the fund transfer to the affiliate companies
Prepare the loan invoices for the affiliate companies
(Borrowing)
Input borrowing data into the treasury system
Manage the due date for repayment
Handle the fund transfer to the banks
(Expense and Tax payment)
Manage the due date for payment expenses and taxes
Handle the payment for the vendors and tax authorities
(Accounting)
Prepare the journal entry to the above transactions
Prepare monthly financial information for outside accountants and headquater - Other & Miscellaneous
Support for the preparation of reports and materials
Perform administration tasks including ordering office supplies, filing documents, translating both English and Japanese and arranging appointments
Assist Japanese expats when communicating with the outside in English - Supervisory responsibilities

IV. Qualifications - Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from four‐year accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Three or more years of related work experience in.
Fluent in reading and writing in English - Tools & Equipment
General office equipment including personal computer, phones, fax, copier, scanner, calculator, postage machine, etc.
Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office applications - Certificates / Licenses
