Sales Development Representative – Japanese Speaking

Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative will join the Cross Border Family Practice Client Success team to identify potential cross border clients in need of individual tax and wealth management services and nurture clients through the sales cycle. The ideal candidate is fluent in Japanese speaking, writing and reading, along with being a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable working independently and with a team, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and nurturing relationships.  This is a full-time position with Sales Bonus potential.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identifies prospective customers by following team defined outreach strategies
  • Communicates with potential clients to understand their financial goals
  • Nurtures leads through the sales process
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients and community
  • Conducts and assists presentations and educational outreach efforts, informing the public of services with a goal of attracting new clients and leads
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise
  • Take proactive career steps through Career Advising program

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Japanese speaking, writing, and reading
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • At least one year of related experience required
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of procedures and policies related to individual tax, accounting and economics
  • Ability and willingness for periodic travel to client sites and conferences
