Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of Production Management and Technical Support. This position will involve overseeing production operations, coordinating with Japanese engineers, and providing technical support to our team and customers.
Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Collaborate with Japanese engineers to develop production plans and schedules.
Communicate instructions for processing parts based on the component drawings created by Japanese engineers.
Monitor the progress of part processing, ensuring adherence to the production plan, and provide regular updates and reports.
Coordinate the progress of ordered parts in the US, ensuring alignment with the production plan.
Collaborate with the manager and Japanese engineers to address any delays or issues that may arise in the production plan.
Technical Support:
Communicate with Japanese engineers to resolve any processing questions or issues raised by operators.
Liaise with Japanese engineers to respond to technical inquiries from vendors.
Communicate with Japanese engineers to address technical inquiries from customers.
Requirements:
Educational background in a technical field, preferably in mechanical engineering.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Business-level proficiency in English for effective communication.
Business-level proficiency in Japanese for effective communication.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
